Before You Tryout

REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS

Registration for Tryouts must be completed on must be completed by the player’s parent or guardian prior to tryouts on September 21, 2024.

CHECK AGE DEFINITIONS

Age definitions are defined by USAV. Check the guide here to ensure your player is trying out for the correct team.

BE PREPARED

Players need to show up to tryouts focused and prepared. We suggest court shoes, knee pads, water bottles, and any support braces that may be needed.

Tryout Process + What to expect

Step 1: Attend Tryouts

Tryouts will be hosted on SEPTEMBER 21, 2024 at Turner Ashby High School. September 28th is reserved for a makeup date. It’s important to use the USAV age definitions to ensure your daughter is trying out for the correct age group.

Step 2: Accept or Decline Offer to Join Valley Juniors

An email will be sent to the parent/guardian listed on the registration form. Please indicate your decision to join or decline Valley Juniors Volleyball Club’s offer. Once offered a position on a team roster, you must verbally commit via email and then you have 24 hours to send the deposit to @ValleyJuniors on Venmo.

Step 3: Pay Fees

Pay the deposit or full fee outlined in your invitation email via Venmo to @ValleyJuniors. Each team is priced differently depending on the tournament schedule.

Please note the account shows up as “Brandi Baylor” who is our Co-Director.

What's included in my payment?

Included with your one-time fee is your player’s jersey, backpack, coach’s travel, and tournament fees*

*Tournament fees should not be confused with tournament admission fees for spectators.
